Store Policies
Pre-Sell Policy:
From time to time we offer items for sale before they are officially released by the manufacturer. These are called Pre-Sells, or Pre-Orders. Placing a Pre-Sell order confirms you will receive the item purchased as soon as we receive it in stock. Please note that although we order these items directly from the manufacturers we are not guaranteed to receive our orders before major retail chains or large online retailers. This is not typical but it does occur on occasion. Therefore, because we place our orders based on the amount of pre-orders we receive, any canceled Pre-Sell order will incur a 20% product stocking fee that will be deducted from any refund that is due. In addition, once a Pre-Sell order has been finalized, Pre-Sell items on that order cannot be exchanged for in stock items. Occasionally, manufacturers may select to allocate, or limit certain items. If this occurs we will fill as many orders as possible starting with the earliest dated order. In this case we will notify each customer with an unfulfilled order and provide the options of canceling or waiting for the Pre-Sell item(s) ordered. A stocking fee will not be imposed in this scenario.
Shipping and Insurance: We offer the following shipping options (based on the total weight of your order): - USPS 1st Class Mail when applicable (USA ONLY). Maximum packaged weight is 13 ounces.
- USPS Priority Mail with specific options for the USA, Canada, and all other international destinations.
- USPS Parcel Post (USA ONLY)
- USPS Express Mail with specific options for the USA, Canada, and all other international destinations.
- UPS Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air options (USA ONLY).
- UPS Standard, Worldwide Expedited, and Worldwide Express for Canada and all other international destinations.
We do not currently have the ability to add Insurance for USPS shipments in the United States. UPS shipments include insurance up to $100.
Insurance for international orders (including Canada) can only be obtained by selecting Express Mail International or any UPS shipping option. These options include insurance up to $100. Payment Methods:
If you are interested in purchasing anything on this site, you may do so by adding the item to your shopping cart. We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, and Bank Wire Transfer. All payment must be made in US funds. We cannot accept personal checks and apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
You may also place an order via email at service@pitstoptoyshop.com. If you use PayPal or a credit card, please allow 1-2 business days for processing and shipment of your order. If you pay by money order, your order will ship 2-3 business days after we receive your payment. Bank Wire Transfers may take as long a 10 business days to clear into our account. Your order will ship within 1-2 business days after the payment has cleared. There is also an additional $15 fee for Bank Wire Transfers. The customer is responsible for paying this fee. We may, at our sole discretion, choose to waive this fee, depending on the circumstances for that particular order.
Return Policy:
Due to the fragile nature of the packaging for most of the items we carry we are only able to allow returns on insured items. Items that have been opened cannot be returned for any reason, regardless of condition, even if insurance was purchased, so please thoroughly check the contents of your order before opening any items. Returns for Buyer's Remorse will not be accepted. Once your order is placed it is final and cannot be changed. For acceptable returns, an investigation may need to be completed by the delivery courier before any replacement or refund can be sent. Once a package has been shipped the shipping costs cannot be refunded.
